April 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's prime minister Boyko Borissov said on Tuesday that the country will extend the state of epidemic emergency introduced over the COVID-19 pandemic by one month until the end of May.
The government will also focus on ensuring predictability for the tourism industry and clear rules for the entry of tourists into Bulgaria, Borissov said as quoted in a government press release.

By Tuesday, there were 399,259 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria, of which 54,115 still active, according to health ministry data.
