SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 13 (SeeNews) – Ten candidates are vying for a contract to design two modernised road sections in northwestern Bulgaria with a combined length of 69 kilometres, the Road Infrastructure Agency said.
The lowest bid of 910,821 levs ($627,676/465,695 euro) for the design of the upgraded sections, part of the road linking the towns of Rujintsi, Montana and Vratsa, had been filed by local company Injconsultproect, the government agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
Bids have also been submitted by local companies Trafic Holding, Patproekt, Patproekt 2000, Transconsult-22 and Rutex and the following consortia: Bulcheh, Tekopi Vidin-Botevgrad 2013, Via Plan-Burda and Mosti.
The project is co-financed under the EU-funded operational programme Transport.
