March 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria recorded a net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) of 15 million euro ($16.1 million) in January 2020, compared to a net outflow of foreign investment of 164.1 million euro in the first month of last year, the central bank said on Friday.
The net FDI inflow in the first month of 2020, calculated according to the directional principle, was equal to 0.02% of the central bank's forecast for Bulgaria's gross domestic product for that year, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a statement, citing preliminary data.
The largest positive net direct investment inflow in Bulgaria in the review period, of 43.1 million euro, came from Israel.
