July 17 (SeeNews) - Bucharest bourse indices rose on Tuesday, in higher turnover, Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 21.15 million lei ($6.3 million/5.4 million euro) on Tuesday from 14.55 million lei on Monday.
Power supplier and distributor Electrica [BSE:EL] shares closed 0.88% higher at 9.18 lei, generating the largest trading turnover on Tuesday - of 5.51 million lei.
Lender BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] gained 2.12% to 13.48 lei in the day's second largest turnover, of 5.48 million lei.
Majority state-owned Romanian gas pipeline operator Transgaz [BSE:TGN] share price rose 0.62% to 325 lei in a trading turnover of 2.9 million lei - the third largest during the trading session.
