November 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] plans to pay an interim dividend of 0.0355 marka ($0.02/0.018 euro) per share, it said.
The proposal, under which the company will distribute an overall interim dividend of 17.4 million marka, will be put to the vote at a shareholders meeting on December 5, Telekom Srpske said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
"The paid interim dividend shall be taken into account in the course of adopting the financial reports for the year 2019 and passing of the decision on profit distribution for the year 2019," the company said.
Telekom Srpske reported earlier that its consolidated net profit rose to 63.4 million marka in the first nine months of 2019, from 44.3 million marka in the like period of last year.
Earlier this year, it distributed a dividend of 0.08 marka per share for 2018, slightly above the prior year's payout of 0.07 marka per share.
Telekom Srpske is the second-largest telecommunications company in Bosnia. It is majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija and has its clients mainly in the Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia together with the Federation entity.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million, has two other telecommunication companies, both state-controlled - HT Mostar and BH Telecom.
