September 3 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Bosnia's Serb Republic in July totalled 19,852, down by 4.6% on the year and 11.0% lower on the month, official figures showed.
The Serb Republic tourist numbers fell by 6.2% on the year to 134,714 in the first seven months of 2009, data from the website of the Serb Republic Statistics Office indicated.
The number of overnights decreased by 11.7% year-on-year to 56,162 in July. Most foreign tourists visiting the Serb Republic came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Germany.
The Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation are the two autonomous parts of post-war Bosnia.
