May 24 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic stood at 1,265 marka ($695/647 euro) in April, up by 6.1% on the year in real terms, the entity's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 0.3% higher in real terms in April, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement on Monday.
The average gross monthly salary in the entity amounted to 1,921 marka in April, up from 1,910 marka in March. In real terms, it rose 0.3% month-on-month.
The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic reached 1,144 marka last year and was higher by a real 1.1% on the year.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
