March 18 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer Sarajevo Osiguranje [SAJ:SOSOR] said on Monday its net profit soared to 2.06 million marka ($1.15 million/1.05 million euro) in 2023, compared with 540,673 marka recorded a year earlier.
Sarajevo Osiguranje's gross written premiums went up 3% on the year to 70.3 million marka in 2023, while its fee and commission income fell 23.3% to 1.1 million marka, the company said in an annual financial report.
Operating costs were 2.8% higher at 27.4 million marka in 2023.
The company's total assets increased to 130.3 million marka at the end of 2023, from 126.3 million marka at the end of 2022.
The insurer's shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on February 9, when they closed 0.08% lower at 11.99 marka.
