May 11 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Nova Banka [BANJ:NOVB-R-E] said its net profit reached 13.25 million marka ($7.4 million/6.8 million euro) in the first quarter of 2023, significantly higher compared with 4.8 million marka booked in the like period a year earlier.
The lender's net interest income rose by 23.4% on the year to 20 million marka in the January-March period, while the net income from fees and commissions increased by 51% to 8.2 million marka, Nova Banka said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) on Wednesday.
The bank's total assets amounted to 2.69 billion marka at the end of March, down from 2.82 billion marka at the end of 2022.
Nova Banka's shares have not traded on the BLSE in the past year.
