September 12 (SeeNews) - Bosnian insurer Triglav Osiguranje [SAJ:BHOSR], part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, said on Thursday its net profit rose 4.7% year-on-year in the first half of 2019, reaching 1.4 million marka ($808.9 million/733.7 million euro).
Gross written premiums increased 4.8% to 24.1 million marka, while operating costs decreased 11.3% to 6.3 million marka, the company said in a financial statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
The company's total assets amounted to 110.7 million marka at the end of June, compared to 101.4 million marka at end-2018.
Triglav Group is an international corporation founded in Slovenia. The company also operates in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
