November 24 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia rose 17.4% on the year in October, after an annual increase of 17.3% in September, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
In October, the average prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 25.9% year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 22.9%, and transport prices surged by 25.8%, the statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices rose 2.1% in October, following an increase of 1.2% in September.
Last year, consumer prices in Bosnia rose by 2.0%, after a drop of 1.0% in 2020.
