July 3 (SeeNews) - Bosnian metal processing company Index said on Wednesday it is launching a buyout bid for the remaining stake of 49.8% in Bosnian cargo transportation company Centrotrans Tranzit [SAJ:CTRTR] it does not already own.
Index plans to acquire 28,194 Centrotrans shares, offering to pay 91.56 marka ($52.8/46.8 euro) per share, index said in a filing to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.

Index said it is acting together with affiliated parties in the buyout bid.
Index is also active in the import and trade of original spare part for heavy motor vehicles.
Centrotrans Tranzit, established in 1963, is one of the region's leading cargo transport companies.
Centrotrans' shares last traded on the Sarajevo bourse on April 26, closing 50% higher at 48 marka.
