January 17 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Federation maize crop stood at 173,232 tonnes last year, down 18% compared to 2021, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Soybean production fell 18% to 4,598 tonnes last year, while tobacco production increased by 8.0% to 298 tonnes compared to 2021, the statistics office said in a statement.
Production of potatoes rose 6.5% on the year to reach 190,329 tonnes.
Apple production increased by 21% to 50,935 tonnes and plum production went up by 56% to 53,146 tonnes compared to 2021.
Total grape production rose by 17% on the year to 47,530 tonnes.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
