SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 29 (SeeNews) – The government of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation said it has given the go-ahead to talks on a 15 million euro ($19.5 million) loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance a project for the deployment of smart electric meters.
The final decision on the loan will be taken upon the completion of the negotiations with the EIB on the borrowing terms, the entity's government said in a statement on Friday.
The loan will be taken out by state-owned power utility JP Elektroprivreda BiH.
The Muslim-Croat Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
