SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 28 (SeeNews) – Bosnian majority state-owned engineering company Energoinvest [SAJ:ENISR] said on Tuesday its net loss expanded to 6.8 million marka ($4.1 million/3.5 million euro) in the first six months of the year, from 5.9 million marka a year earlier.
Operating income dropped to 49.25 million marka in the January-June period from 56.72 million marka a year ago, while operating costs declined 12.7% to 54.49 million marka, Energoinvest said in its interim financial statement sent to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange.
Energoinvest has representative offices in Kosovo, Turkey, Croatia, Ethiopia, Algeria, and Libya.
The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
Earlier this year, the Federation's government approved plans to privatise in 2018 Energoinvest, in which it holds 67%.
