May 22 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Zenica city government has signed a 15.1 million marka ($8.4 million/7.7 million euro) credit line agreement with lender BBI Banka to support local companies, it said.
The credit line will be used to finance the working capital, equipment and investments of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Zenica, the city government said in a press release on Thursday.
The Zenica city government has provided financing in the amount of 100,000 marka to cover part of the profit margin.
The maximum single financing through the credit line is 400,000 marka.
Zenica is located in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
