- Political parties in the Serb Republic believe that Bosnian politicians themselves should solve the political deadlock in the country, while politicians from the Muslim-Croat Federation think it will be impossible without foreign help, the daily said. The EU and U.S. initiated earlier this month a meeting with Bosnian political leaders at the Butmir military base to discuss how to turn the country into a functioning state but the talks ended inconclusively.
- Bosnia’s grey economy generated some 6.56 billion marka last year, more that a quarter of the country's gross domestic product, Bosnian economic analyst Rajko Tomas said. Tomas is a professor at the Economic Faculty in the Banja Luka University.
