October 30 (SeeNews) - Turnover on the Slovenian stock exchange rose on Monday, as the bulk was generated by a block deal in the shares of drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG], stock exchange data showed.
Krka generated a turnover of 611,430 euro ($710,000), including a 440,000 euro block deal for 8,000 shares.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE increased to 1.1 million euro on Monday from 561,210 euro on Friday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on LJSE, edged up 0.05% to 796.92 points on Monday. On Friday, the index closed 0.30% lower.
Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] rose the most among blue chips, as it closed 4.12% higher at 8.33 euro.
Logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] was the top blue-chip decliner on Monday, closing 1.82% lower at 2.052 euro.
