October 16 (SeeNews) - Serbian share indices extended their gains on Friday, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose 1.34% to 843.74 points after gaining 1.46% a day earlier. The broader BELEXline index added 1.17% to 1,591.25 points after climbing 1.18% on Thursday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna edged up 0.21% to 379.74 on Friday.
Trading in government bonds generated a turnover of 19.7 million dinars on Friday versus 2.5 million dinars a day earlier, increasing the Belgrade bourse's total turnover to 85.8 million dinars ($1.37 million/920,089 euro) from 66.5 million dinars on Thursday.
Construction firm Jedinstvo Sevojno led the gains, surging 8.87% to 6,480 dinars.
Edible oil producer Dijamant was the bourse's biggest faller, tumbling 7.15% to 12,999 dinars.
Blue chip AIK Banka edged up 0.89% to 3,096 dinars in the session’s highest turnover of 17.9 million dinars. Blue chip Agrobanka advanced 5.05% to 11,673 dinars in the session’s second highest turnover of 6.4 million dinars.
Engineering holding company Energoprojekt posted the session’s third highest turnover of 6.1 million dinars. Its shares climbed 1.92% to 1,116 dinars.
Climbers outnumbered fallers by 31 to 17 on Friday, while the shares of 17 companies remained unchanged from Thursday.
