BELGRADE (Serbia), August 21 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices pulled back in sharply lower turnover on Friday, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange dipped 1.36% to 650.06 points after adding 3.59% on Thursday. The broader BELEXline index shed 1.11% to 1,263.51 points after gaining 2.27% a day earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna fell 2.35% to 296.45 on Friday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover dropped to 42.3 million dinars ($650,090/454,037 euro) from 149 million dinars on Thursday.
Trade in government securities generated 9.9 million dinars of Friday's turnover, up from 5.7 million dinars a day earlier.
Blue chip AIK Banka gained 0.04% to 2,335 dinars in the session's highest turnover of 8.8 million dinars.
Blue-chip soybean producer Sojaprotein was the second most traded company on Friday in a turnover of 8.1 million dinars. Shares rose 1.71% to 1,011 dinars.
Information technology company Informatika was Friday’s biggest gainer, climbing 4.43% to 4,199 dinars.
Commercial bank Cacanska Banka was the biggest loser, dropping 11.77% to 14,999 dinars.
Fifteen stocks gained on Friday, 18 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
