November 23 (SeeNews) - The stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange advanced on Tuesday amid a lower turnover, bourse data showed.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the gainers, with shares rising 0.88% to 1,150 dinars. The company's shares generated a turnover of 43,700 dinars ($7,300) on Tuesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most liquid company on the bourse on Tuesday, as its shares generated a turnover of 2.0 million dinars. NIS' shares closed 0.49% higher at 620 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.22% at 813.83 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.09% at 1,685.11.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 5.9 million dinars ($56,800/50,200 euro) on Tuesday, down from 9.8 million dinars on Monday, as 77 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.9 million dinars. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 1.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
