July 22 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices went up on Friday after declining for six consecutive trading sessions, bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 1.12% at 841.39 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also closed up 0.80% at 1,688.98.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the gainers' list among the BELEX15 members, with shares rising 6.1% to 1,699 dinars on Friday.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 16.6 million dinars ($144,000/141,400 euro) on Friday, up from 5.9 million dinars on Thursday, as 51 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 119,200 dinars.
In the period between July 18 and 22, BELEX15 went down 1.56%, while BELEXline fell 0.46%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 263.4 million dinars, versus 117.8 million dinars last week.
Treasury bonds trading turnover totalled 214.3 million dinars this week, up from 6.7 million dinars last week.
