November 2 (SeeNews) - Belgrade Stock Exchange indices decreased on Tuesday, as total daily turnover rose, bourse data showed.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.14% at 794.82 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.29% at 1,663.83.
Civil engineering firm Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners, closing 7.14% lower at 325 dinars. Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] was another major loser, with shares dropping 1.59% to 1,790 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the sole gainer among the BELEX15 members of the two indices. Its shares increased 0.83% to 604 euro. NIS also was the most traded company on the bourse on Tuesday, as trading with its shares generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars ($961,200).
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 15.3 million dinars ($150,800/130,200 euro) on Tuesday, up from 7.95 million dinars on Monday, as 84 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.1 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 11.3 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange.
