November 18 (SeeNews) - The Belgrade Stock Exchange indices closed Thursday's session lower, with cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] pacing the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Metalac's shares fell 2.70% to 1,800 dinars on Thursday, data showed.
Industrial chemicals maker Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] led the blue-chip gainers. Its shares increased 0.48% to 16,100 dinars on Thursday. Messer Tehnogas was also the most liquid company on the bourse on Thursday, generating a turnover of 869,400 dinars.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 5.5 million dinars ($53,200/46,800 euro) on Thursday, up from 4.0 million dinars on Wednesday, as 31 transactions were carried out.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.83% at 809.26 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.50% at 1,680.90.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 3.5 million dinars.
