September 9 (SeeNews) - Belgrade Stock Exchange indices rose on Thursday, with oil and gas company NIS [LJE:NIIS] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed 0.66% higher at 614 dinars on Thursday. The company's shares also generated the highest turnover of 190,360 dinars among the blue chips.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, closed up 0.11% at 803.25 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, edged up 0.05% to 1,704.39 points.
The bourse's total turnover fell to nearly 7.4 million dinars ($74,400/62,950 euro) on Thursday, from 533.5 million dinars on Wednesday, as 72 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 598,500 dinars.
