BELGRADE (Serbia), September 29 (SeeNews) – Serbian share indices dipped further in rising turnover on Tuesday, with blue-chip lender AIK Banka accounting for two-thirds of total turnover again, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange shed 0.44% to 827.63 points after losing 2.50% on Monday. The broader BELEXline index edged down 0.77% to 1,548.93 points after falling 2.0% on Monday.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna slid 0.64% to end at 375.25 on Tuesday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover rose to 112.6 million dinars ($1.8 million/1.2 million euro) from 91.7 million dinars on Monday. Trade in government bonds doubled to 3.4 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover.
AIK Banka picked up 0.16% to 3,085 dinars in the day's largest turnover of 77.8 million dinars.
Another blue-chip lender, Komercijalna Banka, edged up 0.09% to 38,062 dinars in the second largest turnover of 4.1 million dinars.
Blue-chip Agrobanka was the session’s biggest gainer, jumping 10.58% to 11,164 dinars.
Brewer BIP was the session's biggest decliner, tumbling 9.52% to 57 dinars.
Fallers outnumbered climbers by 30 to 9, while the shares of 28 companies ended flat on Tuesday.
