BELGRADE (Serbia), September 7 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices pushed higher as turnover dropped on Monday, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange added 3.15% to 726.33 points after climbing 2.21% on Friday. The broader BELEXline index gained 2.76% to 1,378.32 points after advancing 1.49% before the weekend.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna advanced 4.22% to 332.00 on Monday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover halved to 43 million dinars ($653,010/455,535 euro) on Monday. Trade in government securities dropped to 11 million dinars from 12 million dinars on Friday.
The shares of blue-chip fodder producer Veterinarski Zavod Subotica remained flat at 550 dinars in the session’s highest turnover of 6.6 million dinars.
Blue-chip lender AIK Banka gained 4.54% to 2,623 dinars in the session’s second highest turnover of 4.1 million dinars.
Serbian commercial bank Jubmes Banka was Monday’s biggest winner, soaring 10.23% to 17,688 dinars.
Food company Fidelinka was the day’s biggest loser, dipping sharply 4.45% to 429 dinars.
Shares of 25 companies gained on Monday, while 11 fell and 19 remained unchanged.
