BELGRADE (Serbia), September 11 (SeeNews) – Belgrade share indices accelerated their ascent in doubled turnover on Friday, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange rose 3.04% to 783.20 points after gaining 2.08% on Thursday. The broader BELEXline index climbed 3.04% to 1,464.88 points after advancing 1.70% a day earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna added 3.54% to 355.68 on Friday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover rose to 132 million dinars ($2.1 million/1.4 million euro) from 67.6 million on Thursday. Trade in government securities dropped to 19.2 million dinars from 21.4 million dinars a day earlier.
Blue-chip lender AIK Banka gained 6.34% to 3,070 dinars in the highest turnover for the day of 49 million dinars.
Its blue-chip peer Agrobanka picked up 1.45% to 9,818 dinars in the second highest turnover of 11.6 million dinars.
Another blue-chip lender, Komercijalna Banka, shed 0.14% to 35,603 dinars in Friday’s third highest turnover of 9.4 million dinars.
Serbian wine maker Vino Zupa was the day's biggest gainer, soaring 8.77% to 7,990 dinars.
Commercial bank Cacanska Banka was the biggest loser on Friday, tumbling 3.83% to 19,128 dinars.
Gainers outnumbered losers 31 to 17, while shares of 13 companies ended flat.
