BELGRADE (Serbia), September 24 (SeeNews) – The Belgrade share indices extended their gains on Thursday in falling turnover, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange climbed 2.29% to 862.85 points after gaining 2.09% on Wednesday. The broader BELEXline index was up 1.81% to 1,607.85 points after rising 1.55% a day earlier.
The joint SRX index of the bourses in Belgrade and Vienna advanced 1.70% to 390.10 on Thursday.
The Belgrade bourse's total turnover slumped to 192 million dinars ($3.0 million/2.0 million euro) from 322 million dinars on Wednesday. Trade in government bonds accounted for 16 million dinars of the day's turnover, down from 23 million a day earlier.
Blue-chip lender AIK Banka again paced the session in terms of turnover. Shares edged up 0.61% to 3,121 dinars in a volume of 117 million dinars.
Its blue-chip peer Agrobanka jumped 11.03% to 11,850 dinars in the second largest turnover of 9.0 million dinars.
Engineering holding company Energoprojekt shed 0.98% to 1,114 dinars in the third largest turnover of 8.0 million dinars.
Wine maker Vino Zupa was Thursday’s biggest gainer, soaring 12.93% to 8,989 dinars.
Commercial bank Credy Banka was the session’s biggest loser, tumbling 8.45% to 5,951 dinars.
Gainers outnumbered decliners by 33 to 20, while the shares of 23 companies ended flat on Thursday.
