August 6 (SeeNews) - Austrian transport and info-logistics services provider Cargo-Partner has completed the construction of its iLogistics Center near Ljubljana Airport in Slovenia, the company said.
The new facility offers over 20,000 pallet slots on 25,000 square metres of storage space and 4,000 square metres of office space, including a 6,000 square metres small parts and single pick area and 5,000 square metres of cross-dock and block storage space, Cargo-Partner said in a statement last week.
Located directly next to Ljubljana Airport, approximately 20 minutes from the city centre, the iLogistics Center offers a direct connection to A2 motorway. With 44 truck docks, the facility is one of the largest logistics centers in the region, the Austrian company said.
Despite the complexity and the size of the project, the construction was completed as planned within eleven months and we have already acquired the necessary usage permits for the building, Cargo-Partner added.
The Austrian company started the construction of the logistics centre in 2018.
Cargo-Partner is a privately owned full-range info-logistics provider offering a comprehensive portfolio of air, sea, land transport and warehousing services, with special expertise in information technology and supply chain optimisation. It has been present on the Slovenian market for over 20 years.
