May 17 (SeeNews) - The average producer prices of agricultural goods in Croatia rose 23.2% on the year in the first quarter of 2023, the country's statistical office said.
The prices of crop products were 8.6% higher compared to the same quarter of 2022, primarily driven by a 16% increase in prices of fresh vegetables, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report on Monday.
Producer prices of wine rose 5.4% on the average in the period under review, prices of industrial plants increased 16.8%, while prices of cereals fell 1.9%.
The prices of livestock, poultry and animal products increased by 37%.
The prices of goods and services used in agriculture increased by 4.5%.
