September 19 (SeeNews) - Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,486 of Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 7.6 million dinars. The company closed up 0.18% at 1,690 dinars.
Cookware products maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, after closing up 3.58% at 2,110 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.13% to 730.25 points on Wednesday. The index rose 0.67% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, rose 0.24% to 1,535.21 points on Wednesday, after increasing 0.65% on Tuesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners list on Wednesday, as its share price went down 1.31% to 679 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 11.6 million dinars ($114,594/98,139 euro) on Wednesday from 9.1 million dinars on Tuesday, as 238 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 196,824 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 643.9 million dinars to the total turnover of 655.5 million dinars on the stock exchange.
