April 16 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as share indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 664 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.1 million dinars. Aerodrom won 0.49% and closed at 1,650 dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went up 0.24% to 741.22 points on Monday. The index rose 0.17% on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, added 0.37% on Monday and closed at 1,557.64 points, after decreasing 0.42% on Friday.
There were no blue-chip decliners on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] led the blue-chip gainers' list, gaining 1.03% to 2,050 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 204.3 million dinars ($2.1 million/1.7 million euro) on Monday from 7.8 million dinars on Friday as 288 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 390,190 dinars.
