September 2 (SeeNews) - Dublin-based professional services firm Accenture said on Friday it has completed the acquisition of the Bulgarian, Belgian and Dutch businesses of the Netherlands-headquartered managed cloud services provider Sentia.
The acquisition, whose financial details were not disclosed, bolsters Accenture’s capabilities to provide end-to-end cloud infrastructure services across public, private and sovereign clouds, the buyer said in a statement.

“The acquisition of Sentia’s business in the Netherlands, Belgium and Bulgaria enhances our capabilities in Europe, particularly around hybrid cloud and sovereign cloud,” Roy Ikink, lead for Accenture Cloud First Netherlands, noted in the statement.
The deal also adds over 300 cloud specialists to Accenture’s team.
The transaction does not include Sentia's Danish business, which will continue to operate independently under the Sentia brand, Accenture said in August when the deal was first announced.
Founded in 2000, Sentia provides cloud managed services, cloud security services and cloud infrastructure migration. The company also offers digital experience monitoring services that analyse, track and predict enterprise applications and cloud services from an end user's point of view. Sentia has been present in Bulgaria since 2018.
The vendor's activities span sectors such as finance and fintech, pharmaceuticals, software and technology, retail and logistics, media and publishing as well as manufacturing and utilities. Clients include Swiss insurer Helvetia, Dutch Sligro Food Group and fintech Allshare.
