SKOPJE (North Macedonia), October 16 (SeeNews) – A1 Telekom Austria Group said the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of one.Vip, its subsidiary in North Macedonia, rose 7.7% on the year to 33.4 million euro ($36.8 million) on a proforma basis in the first nine month of 2019.
One.Vip's total revenues increased 4.1% year-on-year to 91.5 million euro, Telekom Austria said in an interim financial statement for the first nine months of the year.
Service revenues increased by 1.8% to 74.3 million euro, while mobile service revenues added 4.3% to 56.2 million euro.
In the third quarter alone, one.VIP’s EBITDA rose 4.6% year-on-year to 11.4 million euro, while revenues increased 5.3% to 31.8 million euro.
The number of the company's wireless subscribers rose 1.0% year-on-year to 1.12 million at the end of September.
one.Vip competes with T-Mobile Macedonia, part of Deutsche Telekom, on a market of some two million people.
