January 23 (SeeNews) - Croatia's largest lender Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA], a unit of Italy's UniCredit, said it has appointed Romeo Collina as new management board chairman, following the resignation of Miljenko Zivaljic.
The bank's supervisory board adopted the decision on Collina's appointment at a January 22 meeting, Zagrebacka Banka (ZABA) said in a statement.
The decision will take effect once it is approved by the Croatian central bank. Collina will serve in the new position until February 7, 2023 when the term of office of ZABA's current management expires.
At present, Collina is a member of ZABA's supervisory board.
Zivaljic resigned on January 21 for personal reasons.
ZABA's shares traded 0.76% higher at 66.5 kuna ($9.9/8.9 euro) on the Zagreb Stock Exchange by 10:45 CET on Thursday.
