March 27 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose for a fourth straight day on Friday, with hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] leading the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Valamar's shares jumped by 4.27% to 22 kuna, generating the highest turnover for the day among the blue chips - of 4.27 million kuna .
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] was the sole blue-chip loser on Friday, shedding 2.7% to 4.23 kuna.
The remaining blue chips ended the trading day either higher or unchanged from Thursday.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 18.2 million kuna ($2.6 million/2.4 million euro) on Friday, from 16.6 million kuna on Thursday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index advanced by 1.38% to 1,457.57 after adding 1.00% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.83% to 901.13 on Friday after rising by 0.76% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.04% to 111.1200.
