April 2 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Thursday, with telecommunications services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] leading the blue-chip gainers, ZSE data showed.
Optima's shares jumped 11.11% to close at 6.0 kuna, pacing the blue-chip gainers for a fourth straight day. Trading in the company's shares contributed the largest single portion of the ZSE's total turnover on Thursday - 2.3 million kuna.
When asked by the ZSE if it was aware of any facts or circumstances that could have influenced its share price, Optima again said in a brief note on Thursday it was unaware of any such specific information.
There were no losers among the 10 blue-chip companies on Thursday, as six closed higher, three ended flat, while one did not trade.
The ZSE's total trading turnover fell to 15.9 million kuna ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) on Thursday, from 19.7 million kuna on Wednesday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index increased by 1.32% to 1,491.40 after dropping 0.58% on Wednesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 1.10% to 925.86 points on Thursday after shedding 0.16% on Wednesday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.05% to 111.1000.
