December 30 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices turned red on Wednesday amidst a jump in total daily turnover, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) edged down 0.02% to 1,689.63 points after gaining 0.84% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed down 0.74% at 989.28.
ZSE's total turnover jumped to 37.14 million kuna ($5.3 million/4.9 million euro) from 12.3 million kuna on Tuesday.
Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 3.6 million kuna, closing down 0.61% at 832.9 kuna.
Fertilizer maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, shedding 7.95% to 13.2 kuna.
Hotel operator Hoteli Maestral [ZSE:HMST-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, advancing 6.43% to 229.89 kuna.
The fixed-income CROBIS index was up 0.29% at 105.0819 points.
