ZAGREB (Croatia), June 9 (SeeNews) – The World Bank said it expects Croatia's real gross domestic product (GDP) to grow by 5.5% in 2021, raising its January forecast for a 5.4% expansion of the country's economy.
Croatia's economic output is projected to increase by 6.2% in 2022, which is up by 2.0 percentage points compared with the January forecast, the World Bank said in the June edition of its Global Economic Prospects report published on Tuesday.
For 2023, the global lender expects the Croatian economy to expand by 5.7%.
Croatia's economy contracted by an estimated 8.0% last year, according to the report.
