January 10 (SeeNews) - The World Bank said it expects Montenegro’s economy to expand by 3.2% this year, an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared to its June forecast.
For 2025, economic growth in Montenegro is seen at 3.1%, up 0.2 percentage points compared to its June projection, the World Bank said in its January Global Economic Prospects report published on Tuesday.
The World Bank's forecast is that Montenegro ended 2023 with GDP growth of 4.8%, or 1.4 percentage points higher than its June projection.
The economic growth of the Western Balkans region is forecast at 3% in 2024, from an estimated 2.5% in 2023.
