March 16 (SeeNews) - Wizz Air has suspended its service to Bosnia's Tuzla amid the outbreak of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the Hungarian low-cost carrier's flight schedule shows.

The suspension will take effect as of March 17, as the service is expected to return on April 4, according to the company's flight schedule.

In 2019, passenger numbers at Tuzla Airport increased by 1.4% compared to 2018, reaching 593,050. The airport served 2.5 million passengers over the last nine years.
