December 7 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) kept on rising on Wednesday for a second day in a row, thanks to further gains in Valamar, bourse data showed.
The 19-share equity CROBEX added 0.21% to finish at 1,919.02 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.28% to close at 1,132.01 points.
In regular trading, hotel operator Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG] the most traded company with a turnover of 2.2 million kuna ($307,000/291,000 euro), as shares rose 0.54% to close at 1,850 kuna. They are part of the broader index.
Shares of another hotel operator, blue chip Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] increased 1.41% to close at 28.80 kuna in a turnover of 1.2 million kuna.
The bourse's regular trading turnover rose to 31 million kuna from 7.3 million kuna on Tuesday, thanks to a 2.1 million kuna block deal with shares of food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] and a 23.4 million kuna turnover in regular trading with government bonds issued in 2020 and maturing in 2025.
