July 16 (SeeNews) - US manufacturer of electronic components for the automotive industry Bourns has acquired Slovenia's Keko Varicon from Slovenian investment and consultancy firm MSIN, local media reported on Tuesday.
The new owners have already taken over Keko's management, putting new directors in charge, web portal Siol.net reported, quoting unnamed sources.

The value of the transaction remains unknown, Siol.net said.
Keko Varicon employs more than 140 people and manufactures overvoltage protective and EMI (electromagnetic interference) suppression components.
According to Slovenian newspaper Delo, Keko expects an 11% rise in sales this year. For that purpose the company plans to introduce new equipment and increase the productivity of its manufacturing process.
Keko's sales revenue soared by a record 30% to 10 million euro ($11.2 million) last year, mainly from exports. The company reported a net profit of some 500,000 euro for 2018.
MSIN, owned by Slovenian entrepreneurs Marko Mohar and Matjaz Satler, also controls Slovenian document printing company Cetis, production and management firm KIG, packaging company EGP, publisher Gorenjski Tisk Storitve and sealing products and solutions firm Donit Tesnit.
