LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 8 (SeeNews) – Italian banking group UniCredit said on Thursday its Slovenian unit recorded a consolidated profit of 23 million euro ($26.4 million) in the first nine months of 2018, up 0.3% year-on-year.
In Slovenia, UniCredit is represented by UniCredit Banka Slovenija.
The bank's net interest income rose 2.7% on the year to 37 million euro in January-September, while net fee and commission income fell 4.4% to 19 million euro, the UniCredit Group said in its income statement for the first nine months of 2018.
UniCredit Banka Slovenija booked an operating income of 62 million euro in the period under review, up 7.4% on the year. Its net operating profit rose 10.6% to 31 million euro.
The bank's customer loan portfolio increased 12.9% to 1.927 billion euro, while deposits decreased 5.9% to 1.792 billion euro.
