September 9 (SeeNews) - UK-based provider of billing, charging and customer management systems Cerillion said on Thursday that it opened a new regional centre of excellence in Bulgarian capital Sofia, to complement the company’s other major offices in the UK and India.
The new location is expected to expand quickly and become a major contributor to the ongoing success of the company, Cerillion said in a statement.
Heading up the new office in Bulgaria is Rozalia Pandauzova, who brings more than 17 years’ business support systems/operation support systems (BSS/OSS) experience working with leading telecommunication operators including Telenor, Cosmote and Vivacom. Starting with project and development teams, Cerillion Bulgaria will play a key role in delivering the company’s pre-integrated BSS/OSS suite to a worldwide customer base, the UK-based company said.
"Sofia has a rapidly growing reputation as a technology hub in central Europe, with an excellent education system and a highly-skilled and multi-lingual IT workforce," Louis Hall, CEO of Cerillion, said in the statement.
London-based Cerillion is delivering its solutions across a broad range of industries including the telecommunications, finance, utilities and transportation sectors. These are used to price and bill subscriptions and variable usage for wholesale, retail and white label services; B2B and B2C offerings and multi-country service provider portfolios, according to information published on the company's LinkedIn profile.
