February 17 (SeeNews) - Radio and TV transmission services provider NURTS Bulgaria [BUL:NUHA] said on Monday that its consolidated net profit fell to 6.4 million levs ($3.5 million/3.3 million euro) in 2019 from 9 million levs the year before, following a decrease in revenue.
NURTS Bulgaria booked operating revenue of 38.6 million levs last year, down from 44.1 million levs in 2018, the company said in an annual financial statement.
Operating expenses decreased to 31.4 million levs from 34.6 million levs, largely due to lower expenses for hired services.
The company's main clients last year included public broadcaster BNT, national radio BNR, as well as commercial TV channels such as bTV, Nova, and Bulgaria on Air.
NURTS Bulgaria is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC), which operates under the Vivacom brand.
