June 30 (SeeNews) - Total trading turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) jumped to 2.16 million euro ($2.46 million) on Friday from 394,000 euro a day earlier, on trade in port operator Luka Koper, drug maker Krka and Telekom Slovenije, bourse data showed.
Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] generated the largest turnover on Friday - of 691,620 euro, including 470,000 euro in a single block deal. The company rose the most among the blue chips, by 1.63% to a close of 30.5 euro.
Krka [LJE:KRKG] accounted for Friday's second-largest turnover, of 601,060 euro. The share prices of the drug maker closed unchanged.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] contributed 542,220 euro to Friday's turnover. The telecom closed at 85 euro, up 0.59%.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the bourse ticked up 0.03% to 796.40 points, following a slight increase of 0.18% on Thursday.
Finance company KD Group led the blue-chip decliners on Friday, as its share prices dropped 3.9% to a closing share price of 6.461 euro in a slim turnover of just 30 euro.
