April 21 (SeeNews) - Total turnover on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) jumped to 2.3 million euro ($2.46 million) on Friday from just 670,740 euro a day earlier, boosted by deals in port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG], bourse data showed.
Luka Koper generated a turnover of 871,790 euro, including a 840,000 euro block deal. Its closing price fell 0.44% to 29.15 euro.
On the bond market, turnover stood at 994,500 euro, according to bourse data.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, edged down 0.09% to 773.44 points after dropping 0.66% in the previous trading session.
Hand tools maker Unior [LJE:UKIG] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 4.44% to 19.3 euro. It generated a modest turnover of 1,280 euro.
Financial company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] rose the most on Friday, adding 3.85% to 7.7 euro, in a turnover of just 70 euro.
