September 24 (SeeNews) - Turkish financial technology company Colendi has received a Series A investment of $30 million (25.6 million euro) through a valuation of $120 million, thus becoming the local startup that has attracted the largest amount of Series A investment so far, local media reported.
With this investment, the company has a chance to move its headquarters to the UK and become an international company, Anadolu Agency reported last week.
Of the total investment, $12 million came from Istanbul-based financial company Re-Pie, which targets startups with the potential of becoming a unicorn.
Colendi, founded in 2016, helps consumers, merchants, and financial institutions with its first bank-independent Credit Scoring, Micro Credit and financial services platform, according to the company's LinkedIn profile.
